Join us to walk a portion of the district with AVT staff and get an on-the-ground look at the opportunities and challenges ahead in the restorative redevelopment of Lower Albina.   • August 1, 1-6pm - Homecoming - SEI’s free, family-reunion-style festival celebrating the heritage of the Albina community. Live music, food & marketplace at Unthank park

  • August 4, 5:30-8pm - POP! Join us to meet neighbors at this free neighborhood party with DJ Eddie, hip hop line dancing lessons with Sylvia, free food, face painting, games, prizes at Unthank Park.

Hop on the Portland Fruit Tree Project website and register your fruit tree for a harvest—or drop off harvested fruit using our easy, DIY, at-your-convenience process.   • BEH Elementary school supply drive - Donate here by Aug 4 to help First AME Zion Church buy school supplies. They will give away 200 backpacks at the End of Summer event on Aug 8.
