Scott Edwards Architecture, the Architecture firm representing Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI). is pleased to present the site plan for SEI’s new affordable housing development at 3816-3824 NE Garfield Ave, Portland, OR 97212. The project is a 6-story, 59-unit affordable multi-family housing development, which will include a ground floor community room, offices, shared laundry facility, outdoor courtyard, and right of way improvements.

Shop at participating Miss Ave businesses to help support Kairos Learning Academy located a few blocks north of Boise.

  • Sept 18, 4-6pm - Miss Ave Ice Cream Social

Sweet treats for sweet neighbors! Miss Ave businesses pass our free ice cream!

  • Sept 18, 5:30-8:30pm - Salvage Showdown at the Rebuilding Center 

Tickets are on sale now! 

The Rebuilding Center’s big annual fundraiser is on - the Salvage Showdown! Proceeds make sure our sustainable reclaimed materials remain affordable and accessible for everyone.

  • September 20, 10 am - Monthly Neighborhood Cleanup 

Meet at Unthank park to pick up litter in the neighborhood. We've got the grabbers, buckets and bags. Bring gloves.

  • September 20-21 - MLK Dream Run

The MLK Dream Run is an annual fundraiser for the Soul District Business Association. Starts of Saturday with live entertainment, food, drinks, and a Soul-Fun vendor market then join the race on Sunday!
Participating in this event supports:​ Small Business Training Program  & Our Youth Entrepreneurship Program

  • September 27, 9am-2pm - Boise Neighborhood Yard Sale

  • Join Multnomah County’s Community Budget Advisory Committees (CBAC)

No budgeting or financial expertise is necessary! CBACs are groups of community members that review and make recommendations on county departmental budgets and operations. New application for all 10 CBACs until positions are filled!
