ReBuilding Center’s new rooftop Community Solar project is getting ready to go live this fall. Once operational, the project will generate enough clean, renewable energy to subsidize approximately 55 income-qualified households, helping lower their monthly electricity costs while expanding access to renewable energy.
Participants must be Pacific Power customers, and income eligibility is self-attested, making the program particularly accessible. It is also a great opportunity for renters, apartment residents, and others who want the benefits of solar but cannot install panels on their own homes.
We would love your help sharing this opportunity through your neighborhood newsletters, social media, websites, and community networks so we can connect local residents with the program.
This project is about more than putting solar panels on our roof. It is about using a community asset to make clean energy more affordable and accessible to the people who live around us.
