The Rebuilding Center’s big annual fundraiser is on September 18 - the Salvage Showdown! This year, they're transforming the store for one amazing evening, hosting up to 180 guests for a seated dinner in our lumberyard - it's going to be super fun! The Showdown is a celebration of creative reuse and it's also a competition - up to 20 builders spend one month turning $100 of reclaimed materials into gorgeous pieces of functional art - furniture, wall hangings, sculptures - that we auction off at the event and award one Best in Show to the winner of a public vote!
Proceeds from the Showdown help us continue to keep millions of pounds of useful material out of landfills, maintain our low prices, and empower homeowners with affordable repair skills classes. Since the store only covers 60% of our expenses, we rely on the Showdown to make sure our sustainable reclaimed materials remain affordable and accessible for everyone.

WHAT: This year's event features a beer and wine reception, a seated dinner in our lumberyard, presentation of The Scrappy to the top vote-getting Builder, and an exciting live auction of a selection of builds.
TICKETS: Reserve yourself a seat today - tickets are $150, and include entrance to the event as well as the seated dinner.

We're holding back multiple builds to raffle off to our customers! Tickets will be available in store and online - and winners will be alerted via email - no event attendance required. We will spotlight different local artists throughout the year while raising additional funds to support our work.
The first raffle will take place the day of the Showdown - you can win one of the amazing builds with the purchase of a raffle ticket for just $15!
