On June 1, 2023, the Independent District Commission released its Draft District Plan with three draft map options for community input. The District Commission is seeking public input on its draft district plan through Saturday, July 22. The District Commission is hosting nine public hearings for Portlanders to share their thoughts. Eight of the hearings will be in-person and one virtual. At every hearing, there will be American Sign Language and Spanish interpretation available. Testimony in any language is welcome.
