The Boise Neighborhood Association is starting something new! Every Last Wednesday is an open invitation to get together with neighbors in a casual setting to chat about project ideas. We'll rotate the location monthly, and feel free to give us input on where you'd like us to go! We'll also let you know what themes and interest we've been hearing about and thinking about lately, but feel free to come even if you don't know anything about the topic or have other themes/ideas in mind.
If you'd like to be notified of upcoming Last Wednesday topics and locations, you can go to our Get Involved form, and click the Events & Social Activities checkbox. (Be sure to fill out the rest of the form too!)
This social night's theme is how the neighborhood might be able to utilize Lot 13 (http://lot13.info/) occasionally, and how it could be better used to make money. We can even broaden the theme to entrepreneurship and creating jobs in the neighborhood. What outreach can we do to other organizations, the City, jobs programs, entrepreneurs?
The Lot is totally open/bare. BYO-thing-to-drink, and BYO-thing-to-sit-on. We'll have some chairs, but may not have enough for all. If it's raining, the backup plan is Bridgetown Beerhouse right around the corner on Shaver.
