Land Use and Transportation Committee meeting

The next meeting of the Boise Neighborhood Association Land Use and Transportation Committee is Monday July 28th 7-9pm

Location: The Q Center - 4115 N. Mississippi Ave. (at Mason)

We have an agenda of current and future development and transportation projects. All are welcome to attend.

7pm Introductions

7:05pm Development at N Mississippi and Fremont

Holst Architecture and Madrona Park LLC will present preliminary development concepts for the large parcel on N Mississippi at Fremont. Currently vacant, this property extends along Mississippi from Fremont to Revere with a contiguous section extending through to N Michigan.

7:45 Karuna II (One North)

This is the site currently under construction on N Fremont bounded by Williams and Vancouver. Representatives will discuss:

•Changes to the previously approved project as detailed in this notice from the City of Portland:

•Metro "Nature in Neighborhoods" grant: Karuna II successfully won this grant relating to their courtyard. The BNA board supported this grant application. Owen Gabbert will discuss implications of the grant for the community.

8:15pm North Williams and North Rodney bikeway/safety projects. 

Rich Newlands of the Portland Bureau of Transportation will discuss the implementation of both projects including a planned open house and safety campaign for N Williams and next steps for N Rodney.
