National Night Out occurs the first Tuesday of every August. Celebrated across North America, it is a day when people hold parties to strengthen community cohesiveness and crime resistance, as well as get to know their local public safety officials. In Portland, the Office of Neighborhood Involvement’s Crime Prevention Program has the responsibility for organizing National Night Out.

Pick- up game form and sign in

The BNA Board and Dennis Harris will start cooking 200 hot dogs

7:00 - Settle in, enjoy hotdogs, and other goodies

Fill out “the neighbor game” [one game per family] and meet your neighbors

7:30Announcements from the BNA & others

7:40Drawing for gifts from the neighborhood business using the “the neighbor game”

8:00 - Pick up trash and leave our park a clean place to visit
